Critical Update

Release 0.1.0.2-testnet

FIX: Fixed a bug that caused the local blockchain data to become corrupt when using the sweep_unmixable option.

ACTION REQUIRED:

If you started mining before version 0.1.0.2, you will need to delete your local blockchain data! This is located at data/lmdb/. If your daemon won't sync, delete this folder and start it again.

Patch Notes

Hotfix 0.1.0.1 Released

FIX: Resolved an issue stopping the wallets from making transfers to another wallet.

We highly recommend all testnet participants update their node and wallet binaries to the latest version to ensure smooth peer-to-peer transactions.

Network Update

Public Testnet is LIVE!

We are officially live! The QRing Phase 1 Public Testnet has officially launched, bringing fully post-quantum stealth addresses, MatRiCT+ full-chain membership proofs, and LACT+ confidential transactions to the wild.

A quick note on today's network hiccup: Shortly after launch, we experienced a minor propagation bottleneck that required a brief halt. Our engineers immediately isolated the issue to a peering limit threshold in the Dandelion++ implementation and patched it. The network is now fully stabilized and syncing normally.

Thank you to everyone who immediately jumped in to help stress-test the limits of the chain today. To get started mining and running your own node, head over to the Downloads page to grab the binaries.

Development

Pre-Testnet Finalization Complete

Phase 0 is officially in the books. Independent security audits of our core lattice primitives have been successfully completed, validating both our PQClean references and our custom AVX-512/ARMv9 acceleration paths.

We have also locked in massive Phase-2 optimizations, including a 25% performance boost using Improved Plantard arithmetic and achieving 3.87 KB commitments using LACT+ CRT packing.

The public testnet model has also been finalized: access will be completely open to everyone, and to reward early adoption, all testnet participants will receive 1:1 mainnet rewards. We are heavily focusing on scaling our community infrastructure as we prepare for the March 7th deployment.
